Percy Reads Yes! Weekly
I'm usually turned off by the overwrought prose and Che Guevara fetish of most free alternative weeklies, but Greensboro's alternative weekly Yes! Weekly appears to be staffed by people who are occasionally able to get past their class resentment and deliver an entertaining and informative read to a world beyond that populated by people with a poster of the self-immolation of a Buddhist monk on their dorm room/one-room apartment walls. Case in point: Yes! Weekly declared PercyWalker.com "Best of the Triad" in the blog category (scroll about half way down the page). (For those of you not from the area, Best of the Triad means Best of the Tri-City region covered by Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point, North Carolina.)

I'll bet a certain someone believes the voting must have been rigged because everyone knows HE has the best blog in Greensboro. Either that or the voters must have just all been idiots to choose you over him.
