PercyWalker.com v. The Wealth Report

From time to time I like to peek in on my blogging competitors to see what they are up to.  Today I spent a few minutes reading the Wall Street Journal blog "The Wealth Report," where WSJ wealth reporter, Robert Frank, "looks at the lives and culture of the wealthy."

His most recent entry, posted April 24, 2007 tells us how hedge fund managers spend their money.  The post provides the exact same information contained in my January 14, 2007 post.  If you are interested in learning about the most expensive house in America, you could read Mr. Frank's April 18 post or my February 8 post.  If you want analysis of Tom Wolfe's old money v. new money piece in Portfolio, you could read Mr. Frank's assessment on April 19 or my similar assessment posted three days earlier.  I'm sure I could go on and on if I had the time to delve deeper than what is currently on the front page of The Wealth Report, but the posts are so wordy I don't have the time.  It should be clear to any fair-minded blog reader that the entire Wealth Report blog is a giant rip-off of this one.  Further proof:  The Wealth Report launched on January 1, 2007; PercyWalker.com launched on October 24, 2006.

If you want timelier and less wordy posts on the lives and culture of the wealthy, stick with this blog.  There is no reason for you to waste your time reading what a reporter has to say when you can get the same information sooner and with less wear and tear directly from one of the wealthiest men in the world.
