Percy Finding it Hard to Make Friends
Alarming news: while the S.E.C. tries to shut the non-rich out of hedge funds, the Financial Services Authority — the U.K.'s version of the S.E.C., but better — issues an all-clear for them to invest in hedge funds:
The Financial Services Authority opened the door yesterday for private individuals to invest in hedge funds. . . .This puts me at a serious competitive disadvantage to hedge fund managers in the U.K. for making MySpace friends.
