I'm looking forward to the Walker family's annual get-together to celebrate St. George's Day. I'll be giving my cousin, Sir David, an earful. From FT Alphaville:
Sir David Walker has named an 11-member team, including Lady Hogg, 3i chairman, and Lord Hollick, the former United Business Media chief executive, for his working party on the private equity industry. The former banker and City regulator was appointed in early March to help devise an industry code of conduct. His team will examine appropriate levels of disclosure for private-equity-owned businesses as well as the quality of valuation methodology.I'm counting on Lady Hogg's Greensboro relatives to support my efforts to make sure any private equity industry code of conduct takes into account the interests of Greensboro's private equity players.
