Percy the Birdwatcher
Birdwatching, next to bird hunting, is my favorite hobby, which is why I feel lucky to live in the hometown of the world's preeminent birdwatching blog, Greensboro Birds. I enjoy being able to go outside and see the birds that are being shown and discussed on Greensboro Birds.
This afternoon I walked around my estate and took some bird pictures of my own. Note: not all of the birds that I keep on my estate are indigenous to Greensboro, but I do my best to create an environment that is indigenous-like to them.
From earlier today:
Black swan:

Emu: Ostrich:

Stork:

Emperor Penguin:

Flamingo:

Those Emperor Penguins are a little outside of their typical migratory range, but some birds do experience the occasional irruption. I'll be over to your estate asap to shoot a few photos.
Also, I'm no bleeding-heart birdwatcher, so don't think you can goad me with talk of hunting. Camo and blaze orange are my favorite colors.
I should have clarified that by "bird hunting" I meant "goose hunting."
"Irruption" is now on my favorite words list.
I thought it was a misspelling of interruption. But that wouldn't make any sense.
