Percy's Tax Reminder: Expectant Mothers
Expectant mothers: don't forget to schedule your induced labor or Caesarean section so that your baby is born some time on December 31, 2006. You will be entitled to the same tax benefits as a mother who gave birth on January 1, 2006, but you won't have incurred all those extra childcare expenses.
