Percy Recruits Nobu to Greensboro; Calls for Name Change to Greenwich

I usually don't read the Wall Street Journal on Saturdays, so please forgive my delinquency for failing to point out the article entitled "The Atlas of New Money" from this Saturday, December 16 (you probably need a subscription).  Here's a passage for you to chew on:
And in the borderless world of global finance, hedge-fund tycoons' spending is creating a global culture of wealth that looks alike wherever they spring up. London hedge-fund managers give the same type of glitzy charity galas featuring rock musicians as do their counterparts in Greenwich. They flock to hip clubs and the trendy restaurant Nobu in New York and hip clubs and Nobu in London. And everywhere, it seems, there is a rush to play polo.
With the advent of computerized trading, hedge funds can now operate anywhere and such places as Singapore and the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey are vying to become hedge-fund centers. Greenwich, London's Mayfair, Hong Kong and Sydney have taken the lead, drawing defectors from the big financial firms nearby and offering wealthy enclaves with good restaurants and clubs.
My two takeaways from this article are: (1) hedge funds can operate from anywhere and we should do everything in our power to get them to operate from here in Greensboro (we could even change our name to Greenwich and still honor our namesake, General Nathanael Greene) and (2) we need to get Nobu to open a restaurant here.

I've put in a call to Robert De Niro, one of the principal owners of Nobu, to talk to him about it.  Those of you in Greensboro with De Niro contacts should do the same.
