Percy Endorses Munger for N.C. Governor

I've always said that if you could take the best qualities of Russ Feingold, Jeff Flake and Henry Paulson, dry them out and crush them into a fine powder and sprinkle it with a little Milton Friedman dust, I'd snort it and encourage all of our elected officials to do the same.  I'd call the powder "libertaroin."

I'm not sure what Mike Munger has been snorting, but he has all the qualities of what I imagine a well-adjusted libertaroin user would have, which is why I've decided to endorse his 2008 run for North Carolina governor.

Here's my press release:
Greensboro, N.C. — December 17, 2006 — Greensboro billionaire alternative investor Percy Walker announced on his blog today his support for the candidacy of Michael Munger for N.C. governor.  Said Mr. Walker, "I'm impressed with the stances that Mr. Munger has taken on the issues, all of which reflect my own in somewhat diluted form.  For example, if you compare Mr. Munger's take on marriage with my own or his views on professional entry barriers with my own, you can see that we have a lot in common."

Mr. Walker continued, "I want to add one word of caution, my support of Mr. Munger should not be taken as support of the Libertarian Party generally.  I find that too many people who call themselves Libertarian aren't really libertarian.  I'd gladly support other Libertarians who are, in fact, libertarian, but I'd also support Democrats or Republicans who are, in fact, libertarian."

Percy Walker (and his CFO) are authors of a blog entitled "PercyWalker.com: News, Commentary and Advice from the Greensboro Billionaire."  His blog is translated into 15 languages and is readable by billions.  Mr. Walker's blog entries are also read to illiterates on request.  Eighty-eight percent of the blog's regular readers are libertarian or anarcho-capitalist.
